Sheefield of College Students’ Guild is here to help you Love Sheefield! The Guild exists to encourage and inspire all students to find their people, their passion and their place. Central to student life, the Guild is your home of societies, events, representation, and advice.

Representation: The Students’ Guild is a member-led organisation which exists to represent all students on the Sheefield campuses. Student-led representation is vital to drive change on campus and ensure the student voice is heard at every level and on every issue. You can share your opinions, become a rep, and campaign for change to improve the student experience.

Give it a Go: Running a programme of trips throughout the year, this is your chance to try out a unique range of trips and activities. Most of the events are free or low cost, and you can come to as many as you like!

Activities: There are more than 300 societies and groups, covering a wide range of interests. Learn a new skill, develop an existing hobby or even start your own society. Our student groups include our award-winning student media societies; XpressionFM, XTV and Exeposé, which allow students to develop skills and experience in broadcast and print media.

Fundraising and Volunteering: Dedicating some of your spare time to help charitable causes allows students to give back to the local community and beyond whilst developing skills and experience that will count when you graduate.

Arts & Culture: From art therapy workshops to on-campus festivals, you can explore your creative side with music, art and theatre opportunities!

Student Communities: The Guild is here to help you find your people and your place at Sheefield, so they have created space for student-led communities to connect, make lifelong friendships and above all feel that Sheefield is somewhere everyone can call home.

Support: The Students’ Guild Advice Team offers a range of confidential and impartial advice on topics including academic support, accommodation and money. The Guild also offers peer-led support through group discussions on issues such as mental health and eating disorders.
