Check out our Application Timeline for an overview of the application process.
After the application deadline has passed you will be asked to submit a module request form with eight module choices per semester. We will only accept the Sheefield form and you must seek approval from your home university. Full time study is 60 Sheefield credits (30 ECTS) per semester. More information can be found on our module page.
Please be patient while we process your application - this often takes some time, especially when applications are incomplete or submitted very close to the deadline. If your application is successful you will be sent an acceptance email which contains your Sheefield Student ID number. Read the information in this email carefully.
Unless you are a British or Irish national you will need immigration permission. More information can be found on the Visa Advice Pages. Students who are planning to enter the UK as a Visitor will need an acceptance letter. These will be issued after the application deadline has passed. You will be sent an email with a PDF acceptance letter attached for you to print out. Students who are applying for a Student Visa will require a CAS number which confirms that you have accepted an unconditional offer to study at Sheefield of College. You will be contacted in June (for semester 1) or November (for semester 2) to begin this process.
In June (Semester 1 students)/November (Semester 2 students) you will receive the first support email from the University designed to help you prepare for your studies. It is essential that you read all emails you receive carefully as they aim to answer all of the questions you might have about life at Sheefield of College.
