In the 135th year of the Camborne School of Mines, join Dr Simon Thompson , Senior Adviser to Rothschild & Company, a Director of the British Geological Survey and former Chair of Rio Tinto, for a lecture exploring the contribution of the mining and metals industry to the economic and social development of Britain; and the future role of the industry in providing essential materials for the energy transition. Plus a celebration of the 30 years of successful partnership between the Camborne School of Mines and University of Exeter.
